Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area

The crown jewel of Fort Knox recreation, Otter Creek covers thousands of acres of forested terrain along the Ohio River. Available to military personnel, retirees, DoD civilians, and their guests, Otter Creek offers:

  • Hiking & mountain biking: Miles of trails through wooded terrain
  • Camping: Primitive and improved campsites
  • Fishing: Stocked ponds and river access
  • Hunting: Seasonal hunting on designated areas (permits required)
  • Zip-line and adventure courses
  • Picnic areas and pavilions

Fitness Centers

Fort Knox has multiple fitness centers with modern equipment, group fitness classes, basketball courts, and more. They're free for active duty and available to family members. Hours are generally early morning through evening, with some 24-hour access options.

Lindsey Golf Course
